Would you like to become a Contributor and have your sound files sold through 1soundfx.com? We always welcome new Contributors / Co-Publishers and if your sounds are of a professional quality level, we would love to have you onboard.

Sales of your sounds through 1soundfx.com is completely non-exclusive and you will be paid between 40% and 57% in royalties for each sale. Customers buy Credits, and then use those Credits to buy sounds. Customers often pay much less than $1 per Credit, but as a Contributor, you still receive 40% of the full dollar amount.

For example, a customer buys 100 Credits for 85 Dollars. He then spends 5 Credits on buying one of your sound files. You now receive 40% of 5 dollars, even though the customer really paid only $4.25 for his 5 Credits. So you get $2 out of the $4.25 (5 Credits) purchase, which represents 47.03% royalties.

In another example, the customer has purchased 1,000 credits for $699, effectively paying $6.99 for every 10 credits. He now buys one of your sounds for 10 Credits. You get 40% of 10 Dollars, i.e. $4 in royalties, even though the customer really only paid 6.99 dollars for the sound. You are effectively receiving $4 out of $6.99, constituting a 57.22% royalty rate.

Another way to say it would be: We give the customers discounts, depending on how much they buy at one time. But these discounts always come only out of 1Soundfx's share. No discounts are ever given out of your (the contributor's) share. You always receive 40% out of the full price of your product.

If you have only a few sounds to sell, you can upload them via the Contributor area of our website. If you have larger amounts of sounds, we can "mass import" them for you. We just need you to send us the sound files along with Excel-sheets as per our specification. Contact us for details.

Needless to say, you must completely own the sounds and they must be entirely clear of any copyright infringement. The sounds also need to be of a professional quality. No amateur home recordings, please.
